Potluck Recipe

 

Creamy Chocolate Pie

Anyone tasting this luscious pie will think they're eating
lots of calories and fat. Just don't mention the
secret ingredient: tofu!


Filling:

  • 10 oz. chocolate chips or carob chips
  • 2 packages (10.5 oz each) firm tofu (I use Mori-Nu Silken Tofu)
  • 3 Tbsps. light honey

Pie Crust:

  • 9" graham cracker or cookie pie crust



Gently melt the chocolate chips using your favorite method, such as
  • in a double boiler
  • in a pan sitting in water
  • in a sauce pan over very low heat
  • in a bowl in the microwave

Stir until smooth. Add honey.

In a blender or processor blend tofu until smooth.
Add the chocolate/honey mixture to tofu and whip until creamy.

Pour filling into pie crust.
Chill overnight.

Slice and serve
