Oriental Cabbage Salad
Quick, easy, delicious.
- 1 pound packaged cole slaw mix
(I used 1/2 cabbage slaw mix and 1/2 broccoli slaw mix)
- 2 packages of chicken ramen noodles, uncooked, broken up
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup roasted cashews
- Dressing:
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
In a salad bowl, toss the cole slaw, the ramen noodles with the
contents of their packets of seasoning, and the onions.
Two hours before serving, mix the dressing and toss with the salad.
Add sunnies at any time, but add the cashews just before serving so
they remain crunchy.
