Twin Cities UU Singles Group

Who Are We?

We're singles in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota
who are compatible with Unitarian-Universalist traditions.

Many of us attend one of the
several UU churches in the area,
but not all of us do.

Our activities are open to all ages,
but, truthfully, in this group
we're "of a certain age",
meaning we're forty and up.

We're active in our jobs and other interests,
and like to get together. As friends.

We get together to chat and to laugh.
And to eat.
We seem to enjoy food and conversation.

We hold a monthly potluck dinner
(that great UU and Midwestern tradition)
which becomes a potluck picnic in the park
those few months when the weather allows.

Our other activities are diverse:
movies, dinner out, plays, live music,
homemade pizza, a video party.

The kind of actvities
that are more fun in a group of friends
than solo.

Most of our events take place
in Minneapolis or St. Paul,
but our events are open to UUs
from all over the greater metro area.

The structure of the group is informal.
We share among ourselves
the responsibility for organizing events.

Newcomers are always welcome.
